Decorating with Wood Umbrellas Wooden umbrellas convey a natural, classic look that blends seamlessly with the outdoor elements. Their neutral hue can make for a subdued, stately look when paired with a neutral colored shade or add a pop of personality and serve as an element of striking contrast when a more vibrant shade color is selected. PatioLiving carries varying styles of wood dining sets and wood lounge sets crafted from a variety of hard and soft woods, with options to coordinate perfectly with each of our wood style umbrellas. For a less matchy look, wood umbrellas also pair well with Wicker Patio Furniture for a truly refined look. Sling furniture in brown and tan hues can serve to match the general tone of your umbrella while still incorporating varying materials for a more diversified look. Since your wood patio umbrella will be more susceptible to damage from the elements than aluminum or fiberglass models, we recommend keeping an umbrella cover close at hand to protect your investment from rot, splintering, and general wear when not in use.

The umbrella is made cheaply, and next year will buy another one that is better. I bought a stand, which is terrible and does not support the umbrella. In all the years shopping at Walmart, I am always satisfied, but this is the first time I feel my money was wasted, and being a senior on social security I can not afford to do that

Introduction to Wood Umbrellas Wood umbrellas consist of poles and frames made from teak, ash, or other hardwoods, and fabric shades in various colors, styles, and patterns. A wood umbrella brings an element of classic refinement to any outdoor space, providing both decorative and functional value in commercial and residential settings. Bright, turquoise, outdoor art stands out against the light wood patio floors and neutral furniture. An oversized orange umbrella takes the place of a pergola or traditional roof over the patio.

A.No tilt feature. If there is a storm warning, I just take down the umbrella. It can stay in the stand, and then go back up again after the storm passes. So far so good!

There's something special about this patio umbrella: It has small solar-powered LED lights embedded in it to provide a gentle glow at night. Of course, it provides plenty of patio shade during the day, too.

I purchased 3 of these 9' Wood Market Umbrellas in Navy. The color is true and as pictured, a classic dark navy blue. They're heavy and look great, exactly what I needed on my patio next to my pool. The fabric is not as thick as a four hundred dollar market umbrella, but for this price I'm more than satisfied, it blocks out the sun as expected. If you make a point to take down outdoor umbrellas each night or whenever excessive wind is in the forecast, and I'm certain these will last a few years.

Benefits of Wood Umbrellas Wooden umbrellas are naturally resistant to moisture and insects, making them suited for outdoor use. They feature center poles which come in either one or two pieces and generally measure 1.375″ to 2″ in diameter. While made from a solid, natural material, wood patio umbrellas still feature many of the useful features found in aluminum or fiberglass umbrellas. Available options include double pulley, push up, crank lift, and tilt functionalities. These models also feature sturdy wood rib construction, and if broken, the ribs can be easily replaced.
